I have worked over 40 years in health and social care, spending weekends gigging as a Mountain Leader. Having recently retired I have returned to an earlier interest in photography- in particular of wild places and the birds and animals which live there. In September 2024 I started full time study at Cumbria University undertaking a BA in wildlife media. From September this year (2025) I am switching to the Masters course.

This website provides me with the opportunity to share my learning and my enjoyment of the natural world.

I am happy to provide copies of images and videos, with accreditation, free of charge. Paid commissions by negotiation: I am particularly interested in the challenge of capturing wildlife images, both as photographs and videos, in their natural habitat.
